The original Inkscape 1.2 sketch
A quick warmup drawing this morning to start the day. I drew it in Inkscape 1.2, on my Samsung Galaxy Book 12 tablet. Inkscape 1.2+ recognizes mobile device touch screen pressure sensitivity with an Spen. So I sketched it out in that for fun. I use Inkscape 0.92.5 for all my heavy lifting on PC, but drawing on this newer version this morning made me think maybe I need to give the newest ( 1.4?) a fair shake. Give myself time to tweak and get used to it maybe it would end up being even better for drawing in? Who knows....
I wasn't happy with the look and feel of the sketch though, so I then took this sketch into ClipStudioPaint on the same tablet and went over it and finished it up. All in all a 30 minute warmup to get the creative juice flowing. Inspired by the below freezing temps outside and snow on the ground, and the fact that I'm still wearing shorts and crocs whenever possible.
