The latest addition to the EWG website art gallery features a family portrait inspired by The Grinch. This commission includes a new version of a previous female Grinch, along the original Grinch, a baby Grinch, and their dog Max.
I knew immediately that a bag full of loot had to be slung over a shoulder, and they should be posing around one of the many chimneys they will be breaking and entering through on Christmas Eve. I enjoyed interpreting the original Grinch as a female and creating a baby version too. I think the baby turned out looking even more sinister than parents! Watch out for him! I adhered closely to the existing character models while incorporating my style and preferences.
This artwork was sketched and inked in Inkscape, with colors added in Clip Studio Paint. I provided a transparent background version in case client wants to use it on a shirt or other item, but it is mainly intended be a poster or print.
