The first printed proof of my new book Best of Request Vol 8 has arrived - and its a thing of beauty. The picture/ video doesnt do it justice. Its toxic nuclear green.... it has to be the brightest green that the printer has. Its so bright! Love it. All the colors pop, I knew the orange inside the green cover would compliment it well. The blacks are crispy black, I swear KaBlam prints in 4K - and the texture of the cover is something to be experienced. Almost feels like leather. I also looking at the physical book thing this is some of my best layout of all the books so far.

Thank you for a great book launch and request special week!

Thanks for a great week of launching my book, and drawing requests for folks. I have enjoyed the $8/800bit single option for requests on stream. And the fact that its timerless I think has allowed me to dig in and with way less stress or pressure do some of the best drawings Ive done all year. So I will pick up where we left off next week, and I am thinking of keeping the one option/ timer free going. It will go back to a normal price but I think it will continue to be really cool to do as we head into Subtember next week. Thanks for a great week, thank you to everyone who has bought my book so far and see you after the weekend for more Drawing Request Show! Ill be working hard on commissions in the meantime. Best of Request Volume 8 is off to the printer!

 

Its official, I'm posting while waiting for the book to finish outputting the final printer files, but Best of Request Volume 8 is on its way to the printer! It felt so good going over every page with a fine tooth comb one more time and making final 'perfectionist' changes. I truly feel so good about this book, I think as far as the written content and layout design it is my best yet.

We hit the live button on the preorder in the shop live on Twitch Tuesday between 10am and 1pm!

Then the advertising campaign begins to make sure there's no stragglers at the end that go 'oh i didn't even know this was a thing! Can I still get a copy?'

This pre order will feature an exclusive sticker and bookmark and each copy sold will get a hand written signature and sketch in the front.

There were so many good drawings in this volume, from requests to a few off stream commissions and personal drawings as well. It was hard to whittle them down to the best.

Do yourself a favor, make sure to grab a copy of my best drawing collection year book yet. A little retrospective notes, a lot of drawing sauce. A whole lot of drawing inspiration.

Back Log All Caught Up!

I'm happy to announce, that this morning I finished the last 3 commission orders that were backlogged. So, way past the 4 week turnaround. That means going forward all orders are either on schedule or ahead of schedule. This has been many months to a year of closing in on it and I've finally gotten there. What does this mean for you? Every future commission order turnaround will be more predictable and possibly even ahead of schedule. Thanks for everyone's patience who were in the past due orders, I appreciate you!
