Just tossing up a glimpse at what I'm working on this afternoon. Taking notes/ reference pics client provided and drawing out my own designs. Im going for a much more simplified refined look sort of reminiscent of the original G1 cartoon styles. But leaving the important recognizable aspects in. I mean the cartoon looked nothing like the toys when transformed into robots either. Getting familiar with each character's design by doing this as well as well as providing my own references in my style. My new approach is to create one of these for any comic job when dealing with a new character.
Anywho fun stuff, but all I can really show for now.
